Silver plated wine goblet with intricate engraving. Used during the Greek Orthodox Wedding Ceremony, also known as the Common Cup.
THE COMMON CUP: The rite of the crowning is followed by a reading of the Gospel, which tells of the marriage of Cana at Galilee. It was at this wedding that Jesus performed his first miracle, changing water into wine, which was given to the married couple. Wine is given to the couple in remembrance of this miracle, whereby they each drink from the cup three times.

Most beautiful goblet we've ever seen!
It's a one-of-a-kind goblet; an instant family heirloom. We gifted it to the wedding couple & now their son is going to use it!!!

Thanks
Another beautiful piece from Crown Stefana. We purchased this, the kapnistiri set and stefana and are so pleased as it is difficult to source these items in the small town we live in. I highly recommend this site.

You won't find a more stunning, beautiful common cup for your wedding than this one. The design is very Byzantine and the appearance is gorgeous.
